Many amazing authors will be participating in this event by donating signed copies of their books to Books for America. If you are an author and would like to donate, all you have to do is send your books to the address listed below, with a note that says you are donating on behalf of "Fiction Frolic for All Hallow's Read."
But don't forget to come back here and add a comment with your name, name of your book(s) and the number of books you contributed so we can update our meter and cheer as we approach and maybe even surpass the 1,000 books mark! Also, we encourage you to link to your site and leave a brief blurb about you or your books.
We don't want to limit involvement to just authors, so if you would like to contribute to this event, it's quite simple. Just pick up a new book at your favorite online or in person bookstore and mail it to the address below with a note that says you are donating on behalf of "Fiction Frolic for All Hallow's Read." We're limiting this Book Drive to just new books, as they don't get enough new books and we want this to be a fun treat for all the kids and adults who will receive them. Be sure to come back and post how many books you sent so we can add it to our tally!
Here's where to send your books:
Books for America
3829 Pickett Road
Fairfax, VA 22031
Thank you all for participating. We are so excited to spread the world and help this awesome charity spread the love of reading to more people.

DeleteI have several I'd love to donate, a few are ARC copies, is that OK? I know some do not like to pass those along.
ReplyDeleteAs long as they are new, you have the author's permission (or you ARE the author) and they are in book form, that would be great!
DeleteI sent a new autographed copy of JP Grider's UNPLUGGED: A PORTRAIT OF A ROCK STAR. (It's lovely, but I have the e-book and my house is so full!)
